| Yes. We have
spine surgeons that we recommend please, email us with your geographic location.
In general, we highly recommend that you chose an orthopaedic surgeon who
specializes exclusively in the treatment of the spine. To find a qualified
professional in your area, contact The North

Scoliosis Association, Scoliosis Research
Society, or American Association of Orthopaedic

Yes. If you are outside the Los Angeles area and would like Dr. Pashman to perform your surgery please follow these steps prior to your appointment in Dr. Pashman's office: 1) Download the medical
history form and the pain diagram. You may fill these forms out on your
computer. Once completed, the forms can be emailed, faxed to (310)423-9963,
or included with your films. |

I have been diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease. What does this mean? |
|
| Degenerative
Disc Disease refers to the loss of loss of hydration in the disc and weakening
of the annulus(outer lining of the disc). Trauma can cause the annulus to
tear and disc material leaks out and presses on a nerve. Degenerative disc
disease is very common in the human population but is not always symptomatic.
